Authorities say a 56-year-old Rhode Island man is going to prison for 15 years after pleading guilty to molesting a 4-year-old girl.
The Providence Journal reports that Robert Martin, of Pawtucket, pleaded guilty to second-degree child molestation under a plea deal on Friday in Superior Court.
Martin is prohibited from contacting the victim, who is related to him. He must also take sex offender counseling and register as a sex offender upon his release.
Pawtucket Police investigated in March 2014 after the girl told her mother about the abuse.
