Authorities are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed near the Providence Place Mall in Rhode Island.
Police say he was stabbed outside of Joe's American Bar and Grill at the mall around 8 p.m. Friday.
He was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital where he's in stable condition.
Police haven't released the boy's identity.
WJAR-TV reports that police say the altercation stemmed from an incident that occurred over social media earlier in the day. Police say they have a name and description of a suspect who is likely a juvenile.
There's no word on any arrests.
