A woman in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, was stabbed to death late Tuesday evening at an apartment on 122 Willow Street.
The 28-year-old victim, Yanira M. Flores, was found with several stab wounds to the chest around 10:15 a.m. when police arrived at the residence.
Flores was promptly rushed to the Landmark Medical Center where she later died.

Neighbors told NBC 10 that they heard screaming coming from the home. The suspect apparently fled the home and was heard yelling "why did I do that," other witnesses said. They also made it known that two children were inside the home when the murder took place.
Police arrested 31-year-old suspect Alvin Huggins in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Wednesday evening.
Huggins will be arraigned in Boston Court Thursday.
