Power Outages Hit Customers Across R.I.

National Grid reported that more than 10,200 homes and businesses were without power at about 3:45 a.m. Monday, but that was down to about 100 by 6:30 a.m.

Power has been restored to most Rhode Islanders who were without electricity early in the morning.

The outage most impacted Barrington, West Warwick and Warwick.

The National Grid reports that more than 4,700 customers are without power in Barrington.

The outages are believed to be weather related.
