Rhode Island State Police: 60 Pounds of Marijuana Found During Traffic Stop

Thirty-year-old Justin Renfrow of Grass Valley, California, faces drug trafficking charges

Rhode Island State Police say they busted a California man with about 60 pounds of marijuana and more than $15,000 in cash during a traffic stop.

Officials say troopers stopped 30-year-old Justin Renfrow of Grass Valley, California, for a traffic violation on Route 102 in West Greenwich on Wednesday and found the large amounts of pot and cash.

Renfrow was arraigned Thursday in District Court in Warwick on charges including possession with intent to deliver more than five kilograms of marijuana. He did not enter a plea and remains detained without bail. A bail hearing is set for Jan. 5.

It's not clear if Renfrow has a lawyer.
