Rhode Island State Police arrested an arson suspect on Saturday.
Around 5:20 a.m., troopers responded to a full engulfed residential structure at 551A Victory Highway in Exeter. Crews found the fire to be suspicious and launched an investigation.
As a result, police charged 20-year-old Nicholas Dandrea of West Warwick with first degree arson. Dandrea was arraigned and held without bail. He is set to appear in court on July 13.
No one was injured in the fire.
