Police in Providence, Rhode Island, are investigating after several gunshots were fired into a 4-year-old child’s bedroom Sunday.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. at a home on Orms Street, according to necn affiliate WJAR.
The girl’s father, Anthony Souphida, told police his daughter woke up screaming.
He found four bullet holes in the bedroom and broken glass.
Police believe the home was targeted because of the number of shots fired.
There is no description of the shooter and the incident is under investigation.
