A dog which was struck and killed in Providence, Rhode Island, may have been thrown from a car, according to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
According to necn affiliate WJAR, the incident happened thursday afternoon around Westminster Street.
The dog was struck by one or more vehicles.
The incident remains under investigation.
