Stolen Dunkin' Donuts Card Leads Police to Suspected Thief

Police in Rhode Island say a stolen Dunkin' Donuts card led them to a suspect now charged with eight counts of larceny and two counts of vandalism.

Scituate police say they began receiving reports of vehicles being broken into on Oct. 7. WJAR reports some of the vehicles were left unlocked while others had windows smashed.

Police say a victim told officials her Dunkin' Donuts car was stolen and being used to make purchases. Police used the information to track down the 29-year-old Warwick man, identified as Devin Bryden.

Police searched the suspect's home with warrants and found items of interest alongside an item reported stolen.

The suspect was due for arraignment Wednesday.
