Police in Providence, Rhode Island, have released surveillance video in hopes of tracking down the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run.
Seventy-four-year-old Theresa Fernandez and her granddaughter were crossing the road at the intersection of Broadway and Marshall Street when they were struck by a car on Sunday.
Fernandez died at the hospital.
Investigators say they are looking for "a newer model, dark colored SUV."
Police said it's possible the SUV sustained hood and grill damage.
