Two Providence, Rhode Island, teens who started making a zombie movie three years ago are seeing their project finally take off.
Sam and Mattie met in the Special Olympics and have recently raised close to $65,000 for their project online.
The teens aren't making a typical hand-held horror flick. They have got the funding to bring in professionals and make their story come to life.
Sam and Mattie will direct and star in their movie and will also make a documentary that shows their story behind the scenes.
The movie will shoot during a seven-day stretch in Providence.
