A man accused of robbing a New Hampshire house while three children were inside is being held on $25,000 cash bail after his arraignment on burglary charges Tuesday.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ryan Noel told a judge in Londonderry District Court that he is struggling with drug addiction and would like to get help.
Police say Noel broke into a Litchfield Street home earlier this month and stole money off the counter when he bumped into three children, ages 8, 12 and 13, then ran. The children locked themselves in an upstairs room and called their parents for help.
Noel was arrested last Tuesday evening in Lawrence, Massachusetts, after a motor vehicle stop, and waived extradition a week later.
Noel's next court appearance is at the end of July.
