A truck crash Wednesday morning closed down a portion of Massachusetts Route 1 near the Main Street Exit in Saugus for several hours.
Crews worked to right a tipped-over tractor trailer with a heavy-duty tow truck. The back part was removed with a cable shortly before 7 a.m. Crews also cleaned up a fuel spill.
Traffic had been detoured at Main Street. The highway was fully reopened by about 8 a.m., according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
