Several Students Injured in School Bus Crash in Pelham, NH

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Mammoth Road.

Police in Pelham, New Hampshire, say several children were injured when a school bus crashed into another vehicle Wednesday afternoon. 

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Mammoth Road. 

Police say the bus driver, 41-year-old Veronica Mellor, crashed into the back of another vehicle as the driver was waiting in traffic to make a left turn. 

Three children were treated for "very minor injuries" and Mellor was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for minor injuries. 

The driver of the other vehicle refused treatment. 

The front of the bus and back of the other vehicle were heavily damaged and both vehicles were towed from the scene. 

All children were released to their parents and guardians. 

Police say they expect to cite Vellor for Following Too Closely.
