Temperatures and Humidity Increase Ahead of End-of-Week Thunderstorms

After a gorgeous start to the week, our temperatures and humidity levels will be going up. High temperatures Monday reached the 70s along the coast and 80s inland.

It won't be until Thursday night or Friday morning that we see our next round of showers and thunderstorms.

Each day through Thursday should be mostly sunny. A heat wave will be possible in Metro West this week.

High temperatures will climb into the mid and upper 80s along the coast and closer to 90 degrees inland.

Even though we will see a round of unsettled weather during the day Friday, there should be plenty of time to get outside. Once the showers and thunderstorms clear out, it will be equally warm and humid for the remainder of the weekend into the following week. It certainly appears that we have finally turned the corner.
