One person was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Dummerston, Vermont, Tuesday afternoon.
Vermont State Police say the crash happened on Route 30 around 3:30 p.m.
Initial investigation showed Steven Morin, 33, of Richmond, New Hampshire, who was operating a flatbed truck, struck the rear of a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by Dean Tkacyzk, 54, of Dummerston.
The initial crash pushed the Tahoe into the path of a Lincoln Continental driven by Andrea Fields, 48, and her passenger, Charlene Higgins, 88, both of Newfane, Vermont.
Higgins was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and then to Baystate Medical Center. However, she became unresponsive while on the way to Baystate Medical Center and died from her injuries.
Tkaczyk suffered an injured shoulder and Fields suffered an unknown injury to her neck.
The crash remains under investigation.
