A woman faces charges after two miniature horses were found in a tow behind a camper on Friday in Pownal, Vermont.
Police responded to the Ladd Brook Inn on Route 7 after receiving a report.
The animals were found by Animal Humane Officer Gina Brown of the Spring Hill Rescue.
The conditions of the camper were found to be unsatisfactory for the horses to live in, and the horses were found to be in poor health.
The owner of the horses was identified as Donna Jean Malloy. She surrendered the horses, and they were relocated to an animal rescue.
Malloy was arrested for the charges of animal cruelty and false information to a police officer. She will appear in court at a later date.
