State police say one driver was fatally wounded and another was hurt in a two-car crash over the weekend in Addison, Vermont.
Officers responded to the crash on Vermont Route 22A around 4:10 p.m. Sunday. A preliminary investigation shows that 78-year-old James Richman, of Warren, traveled over the center line of the roadway and hit another vehicle.
Police say the other driver, Edwina Ho, was unable to avoid the crash. She was treated at a Middlebury hospital and released.

Richman was pronounced dead at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington about seven hours after the crash.
Police say neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors in the incident.
