A fourth former Milton High School player connected to a hazing scandal in 2011 has pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct in a plea agreement with the state of Vermont.
The Burlington Free Press reports 18-year-old William Jenkins initially was accused of simple assault. His lawyer said Jenkins completed an agreed-upon 30 hours of community service, chopping wood in Fairfax for those who needed it.
He was among five former players charged for incidents in the 2011 and 2012 football seasons. Authorities said there were "multiple victims," including one who later took his own life.
Three others have settled their cases, receiving deferred sentences.
