A suspect who brandished a knife at an ATM is in custody, police say.
On Friday, police in Burlington, Vermont, were dispatched to the area of Merchants Bank for the report of an attempted robbery. A female victim told police that she was using the ATM when a male suspect displayed a knife and demanded her to give him money.
Investigation revealed David Morrison, 22, of Burlington was a suspect. He was arrested days earlier for a similar incident at another bank ATM.
Morrison is being charged with assault and robbery, in addition to violation of conditions of release. He is held on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 9.
