The Burlington College board of trustees has named Dr. Carol Moore as interim president.
The Burlington Free Press reports that Moore was named to the post Friday morning. She's the former president of Lyndon State College and has more than 40 years of education experience.
Moore replaces interim president Michael Smith, who was part of a three-person leadership team named after President Christine Plunkett resigned suddenly this summer.
