Vermont State Police have located a man and a young girl who were reported missing after a planned canoe trip in Lyndonville Sunday.
Jason Fornier, 35, and Amber Tripp, 8, were last seen after leaving to go canoeing in the afternoon.
They were last spotted walking on Main Street in Lyndonville, pulling a small canoe on top of a skateboard.
It is believed they launched into the Passumpsic River, either from Powers Park or behind the LynBurke Motel.
