Man's Body Found in Swimming Hole

A Vermont man's body was found in a swimming hole on Friday, state police confirm.

The body of 30-year-old Richard Dillon of Warren was pulled from the Lareau Swimming Hole, just off of Route 100 in Waitsfield, after a swimmer found it Friday morning.

State police say along personal effects, including clothing and a wallet with Dillon's drivers' license, were found at the water's edge.

He was reported missing by his family the day before after last being seen leaving a friend's home on Wednesday.

An autopsy is scheduled; however, state police say his death doesn't appear suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing.
