Missing Woman Found Dead

A search for a woman who had been missing since Thursday has ended tragically in Vermont.

Kimberly Willis, 34, left her St. Johnsbury home that afternoon to meet a friend in Concord.

Willis' car was found Friday afternoon in Albany, parked near the intersection of Shutesville Road and Burbank Road. Police searched the area and continued investigating Saturday morning. Around 11 a.m., the victim was found dead about a quarter of a mile away from her car.

After an autopsy was performed Sunday morning, police say no foul play is suspected at this time. Officials are still working to determine the cause of her death and awaiting toxicology results.

Anyone with information related to this case should call Vermont State Police.
