A Vermont mother is facing a charge after police say they found her 2-year-old child wandering alone and in a dirty diaper in Brownington Monday morning.
The toddler was found in 30-degree weather near Hunt Hill, according to necn affilate WPTZ.
A witness took the boy to the town clerk, who notified authorities.
The boy was treated for exposure and minor scratches.

Police later found the mother, Mica Collier, who said she didn't realize her son was missing. She is facing a charge of reckless endangerment.
The boy was temporarily placed in custody of the Department for Children and Families.
