Police: 51-Year-Old NH Man Thought He Was Meeting Vt. 14-Year-Old for Sex

A 51-year-old New Hampshire man has been arrested in a child enticement sting after police say he traveled from that state to Vermont to meet whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl in South Burlington.

According to police, Dominick Tarallo of Franklin "posted a suspicious advertisement" online. An undercover investigator responded, posing as the underage girl.

Police say Tarallo arranged to meet the girl on Friday, and that they tracked him as he went from Lebanon to the place where he was supposed to meet the child in South Burlington.

Tarallo was arrested Friday after the operation by South Burlington Police, the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in the investigation.

The suspect is charged with luring a child. He was expected to be arraigned Friday.
