A woman was arrested Sunday morning after allowing an unlicensed juvenile to operate her car while she was intoxicated.
Around 6 a.m., a Vermont State trooper was patrolling Sunset Lake Road in Brattleboro when he noticed a vehicle was parked in the middle of the roadway.
The trooper discovered an unlicensed juvenile was operating the vehicle while Jessica Mathiau, 42, was seated in the passenger seat.
During the investigation, troopers determined Mathiau was extremely intoxicated and had activated the emergency break numerous times as the juvenile drove the car in the middle of traffic.
Mathiau was arrested and charged with child endangerment.
