Police Find Fentanyl, Heroin at Home Where 2 Bothers Died

Two brothers died of apparent drug overdoses.

Police say they found evidence of heroin and fentanyl at a Burlington home where two brothers died of apparent drug overdoses.

Thirty-two-year-old Sean Thibault of Westford and 34-year-old Dennis Thibault of Burlington were found unresponsive at the home on June 18.

A preliminary investigation indicates they died of drug overdoses. Police tell the Burlington Free Press that they are awaiting toxicology results.

Burlington police say there has been an "alarming" increase in drug overdoses this year. Police believe heroin is increasingly laced with fentanyl - an opioid that can be up to 50 times more powerful than heroin.
