Police: Pedestrian Struck Twice, Killed on Highway

Vermont State Police say a man was outside of his car when he was hit twice and killed on Interstate 91.

Police say 60-year-old Arthur Huston of Springfield was found in the passing lane near a disabled vehicle in North Hartland, located in Windsor County.

They say he was hit by a car that had moved over to the left lane to try to pass that car. A second car then hit him.

The road was closed for about six hours overnight but has since reopened.

An investigation is ongoing.
