Vermont State Police have recovered 83 marijuana plants from a home in Weathersfield and issued a citation to the homeowner.
Police said the marijuana-growing operation on U.S. Route 5 spanned both floors of the house and involved every room. They also recovered 4 pounds of processed marijuana, in addition to the plants, last week.
They accused 30-year-old Nicholas Vandeusen of cultivating and possessing the drug. He was issued a citation to appear in court on Feb. 24. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
