Reward Offered for Information in Brutal Assault in Burlington, Vermont

Police in Vermont are offering a cash reward for information that will lead to the identification and arrest of two men believed to be responsible for the assault that left a man with a skull fracture.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Jan. 18, a man was struck by another man in the parking lot between Union Street and 82 South Winooski Ave., according to Burlington police.

In addition to the skull fracture, the victim also suffered a fracture to his orbital socket and multiple brain bleeds. Police are searching for two men believed to be persons of interest in the case.

Surveillance footage shows one man wearing a cap, a dark-colored jacket and hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and boots walking with a woman. The woman is also wanted for questioning.

The other person of interest is wearing a beanie, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and jacket, dark pants and shoes.

The current condition of the victim, who has only been identified as a 21-year-old Burlington man, is unclear.
