A large search is underway for a Vermont businessman who went missing in New York's Adirondack mountains.

New York's Department of Environmental Conservation says authorities have been searching for Munn Boardman of South Hero, Vermont, since Saturday. Boardman, 58, failed to return to his hunting camp in northern New York. Authorities say more than 110 people are out searching for Boardman, including his family and friends.

Officials say the area presents "challenging winter conditions" and wind chill values in the single digits.

Boardman is an executive of Hicock and Boardman Insurance Group, a prominent Vermont firm.
