A woman was arrested in Vermont after driving 106 miles per hour while intoxicated on I-89.
The driver, Kelly Spencer, age 26, from Coventry, Rhode Island, was arrested after Vermont State Police caught her traveling southbound on I-89 in Hartford at speeds of 106 miles per hour.
Troopers were able to stop the driver just south of Exit 1 where they learned Spencer was intoxicated.
She was transported to the police department and released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court for charges of driving under the influence and excessive speed.
