Vermont Fire Displaces 45, Red Cross Responding

A 4-alarm fire in Brattleboro, Vermont, Saturday morning has left approximately 45 people displaced, officials on the scene said. 

The fire started in a multi-unit apartment area. 

Red Cross dispactched volunteers from New Hampshire and Vermont to the area to make sure families have shelter and essentials, an official said. 

Red Cross will be reportedly opening a shelter at the Gibson Aiken Center in Brattleboro.
