A 36-year-old man from Vermont is scheduled to appear in court for driving 110 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 89 on Tuesday.
Just before 1:45 p.m., Vermont State Police stopped a black 2013 Ford F-350 traveling northbound on the interstate near mile marker 109, Georgia.
According to police, the driver is identified as Dennis Labbee of North Troy.
Labbee was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Court on August 1, 2016 for excessive speed.
