Vermont State Police Charge 3 With Possession of Bath Salts

Vermont State Police arrested three suspects for possession of bath salts and synthetic marijuana.

Just after midnight on Thursday, police searched a room at the Holiday Inn in the town of Springfield. The renter of the room, 41-year-old Willie Taylor of Claremont, New Hampshire, was in possession of several varieties of bath salts, synthetic marijuana, prescription Diazapam, powder Fentanyl, and marijuana.

Two additional occupants of the room were in possession of drugs. Nicole Hooper-Reed, 30, of Charlestown, New Hampshire, was in possession of several bags of bath salts, synthetic marijuana and prescription Subutex. Angel Hammerele, 29, of Charlestown, New Hampshire, was also in possession of bath salts and prescription Suboxone.

All of the suspects will appear in Windsor County Superior Criminal Court to answer to drug charges.
