Vermont Woman Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash in New York

Authorities say an 83-year-old southern Vermont woman has died after her vehicle was involved in a crash across the state line in New York.

New York State Police tell The Post-Star of Glens Falls that Dorothy Dusha of Bennington drove into the path of another vehicle around 10 a.m. Sunday on Turnpike Road in the Washington County town of White Creek, 35 miles northeast of Albany.

Troopers say the 24-year-old New York man driving the other vehicle wasn't injured, but his passenger was taken to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington for treatment of injuries whose details haven't been released by police.
