Vermont Woman Facing Numerous Charges After Providing Fake Name

Authorities in Vermont have successfully tracked down a woman facing a variety of charges stemming from several earlier incidents.

Molly Farr, 33, of Williamstown, Vermont, was arrested on Saturday in Berlin, Vermont for providing false information to a police officer, misdemeanor possession of heroin, two active warrants in Vermont and one extraditable warrant in Massachusetts for a probation violation.

On June 29, Farr was arrested at a Hilltop Inn in Berlin for misdemeanor possession of heroin (less than 20 grams).

Farr provided authorities with the name of a family member rather than her own that day, it was later determined, resulting in a search that culminated with her arrest off of Exit 7 on Interstate 89. She is set to appear in Washington County District Court on Monday.
