A Vermont couple convicted of kidnapping and killing a St. Johnsbury teacher in 2012 are seeking a divorce.
Patricia and Allen Prue are serving life sentences in the killing of 33-year-old Melissa Jenkins. Patricia Prue filed paperwork from prison seeking the divorce.
The Caledonian Record reports that in a handwritten note, she asked the court that Allen Prue and his family have no contact with her or her family and that she be permitted to legally return to her maiden name of Patricia Lynn Osborne.
