Vt. Police Continue Months-Long Search for Missing Conn. Woman

Police say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of 24-year-old Denise Hart

Vermont State Police detectives are continuing to search for a 25-year-old Connecticut woman who has been missing since January.

Police say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of 24-year-old Denise Hart. She was last seen Jan. 25 leaving a friend's home in Sudbury. The car she was driving was found on fire the next day in Cornwall.

She was reported missing a week later.

On Thursday, police searched by ground and air areas of northern Rutland County and southern Addison County, including the towns of Sudbury, Orwell, Whiting, and Cornwall.

Detectives continue to interview people who came in contact with Hart in the days and weeks prior to her disappearance.
