Woman Drowns in New Hampshire Lake

State police believe the woman was kayaking in extreme water conditions when she capsized in Bow Lake in Strafford

A 62-year-old woman drowned Friday while kayaking in New Hampshire.

State police believe Victoria Rosenberg was kayaking in extreme water conditions when she capsized in Bow Lake in Strafford.

Crews responded when she was reported to be in distress. She was wearing a life jacket, but her body was recovered about two hours later.

Drugs and alcohol are not thought to be factors.
