Missing Mass. Woman's Body Found in Vehicle in Brattleboro, Vermont

NBC affiliate WPTZ-TV is reporting that a truck found at the scene has license plates matching a vehicle owned by Mary Anderson, a Massachusetts resident who has been missing since Saturday night

UPDATE: The woman was identified as Mary Anderson, a 23-year-old from Harvard, Massachusetts, who went missing this weekend.

A woman's body was found Tuesday in Brattleboro, Vermont, and her death is being investigated as suspicious, police said.

Her body was found inside a vehicle on Elliot Street just before 1 a.m., Vermont State Police said. Troopers' assistance was requested by Brattleboro police.

The woman's name wasn't revealed and state and local police continue to investigate her death.

NBC affiliate WPTZ-TV is reporting that a blue truck found at the scene of the death investigation has license plates matching a vehicle owned by Mary Anderson, a Massachusetts resident who has been missing since Saturday night.

Anderson, 23, was last seen in Hudson, New Hampshire, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Havard police said. She was last seen driving a navy blue Toyota Tacoma with Massachusetts license plates.

Massachusetts State Police detectives are conducting a search in Harvard on Tuesday related to Anderson's disappearance. The search is taking place on Still River Road.
