Man Hospitalized After Home Invasion in Haverhill

One man has been hospitalized after a home invasion in Haverhill, Massachusetts early Wednesday morning.

The home invasion occured at a condo on 440 North Ave. around 1:45 a.m.

Haverhill police say arriving officers found a resident who had been assaulted, claiming that he was outside smoking a cigarette when he was approached by two masked men, one of whom demanded, "Give me all your weed."

A struggle allegedly then happened between the suspects and residents of the condo, leaving one man with non-life threatening injuries that were treated at a local hospital.

Police say the victims had no knowledge who their attackers were or what they were demanding.

One suspect is described as thin and tall, while the other one was shorter.

The incident remains under investigation.
