A man was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 south in Westwood, Massachusetts, on Wednesday morning.
State police said the crash between a pickup truck and a Jeep happened just before 7 a.m., closing two lanes and causing major traffic delays during the morning commute.
The pickup truck rolled over as a result of the crash. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to Norwood Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He was identified as 62-year-old Joseph Boran, of Boston.
The driver of the Jeep, a 40-year-old man from Nashua, was taken to Norwood Hospital, evaulated and released, state police said.
All lanes of I-95 south were later reopened.
A state police accident reconstruction team responded to the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
