$100K Cash Prize Purchased in Dorchester Remains Unclaimed

Check your numbers! A Mass Lottery cash prize of $100,000 is still unclaimed, and nearing its expiration, almost a year after it was purchased.

The winning ticket was bought on Nov. 9, 2018 at Metamorphosis in Dorchester, according to Mass Lottery officials.

The winning numbers are 04-22-23-29-32, and the prize must be claimed by Nov. 8.

Shoppers at Metamorphosis on Wednesday dreamed of what they would do if they won the $100,000. One man said he would give it to his kids, and grandkids.

The jackpot hits about 200 times a year— there were three winners in just the past week. But it is rare for a prize of this magnitude to go unclaimed, officials said.

If it is not claimed, the money will be returned to the Commonwealth to be distributed to its 351 cities and towns.

The prize can be claimed at the Lottery's Dorchester headquarters or at the Lottery's regional offices located in Braintree, New Bedford, Springfield, Woburn and Worcester. Their hours are Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
