Police Identify 2 People Killed in Cromwell Motorcycle Crash

Cromwell police have identified the two people killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday night.

Police received a 911 call reporting a serious crash near 429 Main Street around 9:42 p.m.

Officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found 58-year-old Thomas Varricchio and 50-year-old Patricia Capsolas-Bonavita unconscious at the scene, according to police.

Both were pronounced dead a short time later.

Varricchio and Capsolas-Bonavita both lived in Rocky Hill.

Police continue to investigate what caused the crash.
