Fire officials continue to investigate a massive blaze that injured two firefighters and displaced more than a dozen people at three, three-story apartment buildings in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Wednesday.
The fire started at about 3:30 p.m. at 10 John St. and quickly spread.
"Very, very big building. Very easily could have been an area fire involving this whole block," said Chelsea Fire Chief Leonard Albanese.
Aerial footage showed flames and smoke pouring from the roof of one building.
The fire burned for more than an hour and collapsed part of one building's roof.
Residents of one home ran out with what they could grab — one man only wearing socks.
Witness Nancy Mullaly watched the fire from down the street.

"It's intense. One time my house burned down so I know what they’re going through. It’s terrible losing everything," Mullaly said.
No residents were hurt but two firefighters were taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
At least 15 residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
