2019 Patriots Day Parade Cancelled Due to Weather

The parade was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on April 15

Boston's annual Patriots Day Parade has been cancelled due to inclement weather, Mayor Marty Walsh's office confirmed Sunday night.

The parade was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on April 15.

The annual parade is held to remember the events that took place in Boston that led to the American Revolution. It begins in Boston's City Hall Plaza and ends at the Paul Revere Mall in the North End.

The parade also concludes with a reenactment of Paul Revere's famous midnight ride.
