Seven people have been transported to an area hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Dorchester in which one of the vehicles struck a bus stop.
One person is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The injuries suffered by the six others are not considered life threatening.
According to Boston EMS, three of the victims were pedestrians. At least two of them were sitting in the bus stop at the time of the accident.
According to emergency responders, the accident happened just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, at the intersection of Columbia Road and Washington Street.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown at this time.
