A 72-year-old man has died after he was struck by a vehicle on Thursday night in Dedham, Massachusetts.
The Norfolk District Attorney's Office identified the victim Friday as Bijan Ghayour of Dover. He and a woman who is in her 70s were hit while on Route 109 around 8 a.m.
Ghayour was taken to Beth Israel Hospital and later died. The woman's condition was not immediately known.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The district attorney's office said the driver involved remained on scene and has spoken with police.
